Why is it so fucking cold

It’s San Francisco. We’re used to it being colder than, like, LA. But this is fucked up. It’s fucking freezing and no one’s doing anything about it. Why?

Air masses moving. Upper level winds. There is change in the atmosphere. Honestly, no one knows, I’m just making shit up.

(The Chronicle had some kind of lame hand-wavey shit like “The cold pattern stems from a bank of tule fog that has stuck around since before Thanksgiving. It started in the Central Valley and subsequently spilled westward toward the Bay Area. Were it not for the fog, the Bay Area and Central Valley would be delightfully warm right now.” Oh fuck off.

Here’s the deal: we pay a lot of money to live here and in return we’re supposed to get mid to good weather. Well this is not mid to good. This sucks. One time years ago I had to change planes in Minneapolis (FANTASTIC airport btw) and I went outside to smoke back when I smoked and it was so cold it was like another planet. That’s what this feels like. It’s not natural.
